UK Judging

Peggy has judged since 1972, and is approed by the UK Kennel Club to award CCs in Rough Collies, Smooth Collies, Border Collies, Shetland Sheepdogs, Lancashire Heelers and Dalmatians. She has also been approved for the Pastoral Group and the Sub Group for Rough & Smooth Collies.


Kennel Club Assessor


Peggy is an accredited assessor for the UK Kennel Club in respect of candidates to judge the Rough Collie and the Lancashire Heeler.

Overseas Judging

Peggy has judged overseas under the FCI jurisdiction in Austria, Finland, Sweden, Italy, Germany, Denmark, Spain, The Netherlands and Hungary many times. She has also judged in Guernsey, Jersey. Australia and New Zealand. In May 2011 Peggy added Norway to the list of countries in which she has judged and in September 2011 the Czech Republic was added to the growing list of countries.

Peggy is approved by the Irish Kennel Club to award Green Stars in all the above breeds plus Cardigan and Pembroke Welsh Corgis and Old English Sheepdogs.

Canine Activities


Peggy is the Vice Chairperson of the Lancashire & Cheshire Collie Club and a committee member of Blackpool Championship Show - a major event in the UK, attracting over 10,000 dogs over three days. She is also a full member of the UK Kennel Club.

 

In 2011 Peggy was elected as President of Blackpool Championship Show, she is pictured below enjoying the honour, with her Chain of Office.
